Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in patient care, working closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and support.
Responsibilities
● You help stabilize them by making sure they take their meds.
● Nurses are responsible for providing patient care by administering medication, Injections, observing and monitoring clients, creating an environment that is conducive to the growth and independence of our clients.
● Dispose of unused medications and sharps according to policy.
● HIPPA compliant.
● Perform CPR in emergencies.
● Perform Wellness checks and document on proper form.
● Collaborate with members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
● Update medication according to Doctors orders.
● Participate in trainings.
● Monitor the environment of the assigned work area to ensure the cleanliness, safety and compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
● Update master medication sheet each time a change is made.
● Function within the scope of your license.
● Reconcile clients when new medication is ordered to reduce the risk of medication errors, including duplications, dosing errors and drug interactions.
● Maintain, develop and update nursing skills to implement ideal patient care.
● Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification
- Proficient in patient care and assessment
- Knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA regulations
- Experience in medication administration and tube feeding
- Basic life support certification
- Familiarity with critical care and long-term care environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.50 - $39.09 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
