Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and detailed drawings custom tanks and vessels for HVAC, industrial, and municipal applications, ensuring compliance with ASME and JIS standards using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Perform engineering calculations for pressure ratings, material thickness, and structural integrity.
- Connect designs with Infor Visual Manufacturing ERP and CADLink systems to streamline production workflows.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure traceability throughout the design process.
- Provide technical support to sales and customer service teams for custom projects.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support various manufacturing and implementation projects as needed. Including but not limited to:ERP projects, Facility projects, software implementation projects as needed..
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
- Knowledge of fabrication materials and processes (i.e. cutting, welding, machining)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be well organized and have good communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must have knowledge of the use of hand tools and power equipment.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Must work well as a team player.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with CAD-ERP Integration Software (i.e CADLINK)
- Understanding pressure vessel design principles and ASME code requirements.
- Familiarity with epoxy, cement, and glass linings for specialized applications.
- Experience designing tanks for HVAC, industrial, or municipal systems.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermal systems.
