We are looking for a candidate who likes to clean. We are not looking for a candidate that doesn't want to clean. The job involves cleaning of the entire restaurant and washing dishes each shift. If you read this and thought "that sounds easy" then this isn't the job for you.
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas, creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff and guests alike. Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning routines
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and food handling practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas meet hygiene regulations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the overall hospitality operation
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations is a plus
