ACCOUNTANT
1 – Full-Time
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping & payroll processing highly preferred
- Financial Practice Management software
- Advanced skill set in Microsoft applications and data entry
- Proficient organizational and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and with math acuity
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
- Accurately reconciles daily cash postings with the general ledger and practice management systems.
- Promptly and accurately completes biweekly payroll working with HR & department managers for proper documentation.
- Monthly reconciliation of employee benefits in accounting software.
- Record monthly adjusting/recurring journal entries.
- Serve as back-up person on grant processing in absence of Accounting Manager.
- Assist with audit preparation and other fiscal reporting as needed.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
