Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator
Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for advancing GCKH’s visibility, brand, and financial sustainability through social media management, marketing and communications, and community outreach. This position collaborates with the Events Specialist to support fundraising events and outreach initiatives and manages third-party fundraising efforts.

Social Media Management
· Develop and execute social media strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and support.
· Create, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms.
· Design graphics, write captions, and develop multimedia content, including photography and video.
· Monitor engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries.
· Track analytics and provide reports on social media performance and audience growth.
· Manage paid social media advertising campaigns and promotions.
· Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all digital channels.
Marketing & Communications
· Assist with the creation of GCKH external communication pieces for image, brand, editing, and consistency. This includes but is not limited to presentations, brochures, flyers, newsletters, advertisements, signs, mass distribution letters, e-blasts, statement stuffers, posters, and any other external communication pieces.
· Assist in writing compelling donor, sponsor, volunteer, and community communications.
· Manage email marketing campaigns and audience segmentation.
· Assist with production and distribution of marketing materials.
· Assist with storytelling efforts that highlight mission impact and organizational success.
Event Planning & Fundraising
· Assist Events Specialist & Executive Director to plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, awareness campaigns, community outreach events, and donor appreciation functions.
· Assist with third-party and GCKH fundraisers.
· Assist with grant seeking, including research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements.
Community Outreach
· Serve as a representative of the organization at community events, meetings, networking functions, and outreach opportunities.
· Coordinate outreach presentations and educational opportunities to relevant partners and community groups that expand the awareness of GCKH programs, thus increasing referrals and contributions.
· Develop partnerships that increase awareness, engagement, and support for the organization.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and core hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, this position may require occasional weekend work.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Communications, or other related degree field and leadership experience with 2 to 5 years of experience in fundraising, marketing and/or sales. Must have strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and business writing skills and presentation skills. Experience with nonprofit preferred.
