The Opportunity:
The High-Performance Aftermarket Sales Representative will help support and grow domestic market sales for our cooling products by providing accurate product advice and exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for managing sales enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, while working closely with the design and production teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled to specification and delivered on time.
Specific Duties:
Customer Sales & Support
- Respond to all incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and walk-in customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate technical advice and product recommendations tailored to customer needs.
- Guide customers through the complete sales process, from enquiry to quoting, order confirmation, and dispatch.
- Complete all sales-related documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Actively manage assigned outbound sales calls and customer follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities for add-on sales and upselling to increase order value.
- Maintain and grow key account relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Take ownership of assigned sales initiatives and tasks delegated by the Sales Manager.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments, sharing knowledge to support team success.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure all products are built to the correct specifications and dispatched within agreed timelines.
- Accurately cost job specifications and ensure transparency in pricing.
- Participate in the development and promotion of new aftermarket products.
Key Competencies:
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical understanding of automotive products, ideally in cooling and performance systems.
- Proven sales skills, including persuasive communication and solution selling.
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- High personal and professional standards, including reliability and integrity.
- Previous experience in a technical sales role within the automotive or performance aftermarket industry (desired).
- Proactive learning and gaining knowledge in automotive cooling systems and components.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse customer groups and internal teams.
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in participating in trade or promotional events is desirable.
