We are looking for cleaners with cleaning experience to join our team for the Streetsboro/Aurora/Hudson/Tallmadge areas. We have multiple morning and evening shifts to fill that include but are not limited to start times of 6 am through 8:30 pm Monday to Sunday. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily cleaning duties and maintaining a tidy work environment. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience and have the ability to work independently, follow instructions, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively use provided equipment -- including vacuums and cleaning solutions
- Clean surfaces in the given area.
- Clean windows and other hard surfaces.
- Dispose of trash and empty trash bins.
- Follow safety standards.
- vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and bathroom cleaning.
- Carry all cleaning products and equipment to and from office, vehicle, and inside assigned job
- Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintain equipment
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort; being in uniform, dependable, and on time
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience (preferred but not required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites (A MUST)
- Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and how they are used
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
- Ability to withstand regular physical contact with mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
