EDM Machinist
Lowell Inc, has an opening for a full time, night shift, Machinist to set up and operate EDM machines. The selected candidate will have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and be team oriented. Night Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5pm to 3:30am
EDM Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate CNC Wire EDM Machines.
· Edit programs to maintain part quality and process efficiency.
· Manufacture conforming product through the use and interpretation of part drawings, operation instructions, manufacturing specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
· Perform in-process inspection using inspection equipment and tools to verify dimensional and surface conformity. Uses data to adjust and maintain manufacturing process as needed.
· Maintain tooling, equipment, and work area to ensure an organized, safe, and clean environment.
· Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the machines.
· Performs part finishing operations using a variety of abrasives, deburring tools and equipment.
· Collaborate with team members, quality, and engineering departments.
· Other duties as needed and assigned.
EDM Experience:
· Minimum 2 years CNC Machinist experience. Preferred experience on EDM
· Possesses advanced mechanical drawing reading skills and knowledge of GD&T.
· Understands metrology principles and how to perform inspection on complex parts.
· Strong computer skills in order to access, store, create, and log data.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
