We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician (General Handyman) to assist with general maintenance and repair work across our apartment units in Scottsdale & Glendale. The role will require flexibility, as it involves both routine and emergency tasks, with a potential for increased hours during the busy summer season (May - September).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform minor plumbing tasks, including unclogging toilets and sinks
- Handle minor paintwork, such as patching up small holes and painting over minor scratches on walls
- Replace light bulbs and smoke detector batteries
- Reconnect and troubleshoot smart devices
- Conduct minor furniture repairs, including fixing broken furniture legs
- Assemble furnishings and furniture items as needed
- Tighten loose doorknobs and hardware
- Carpet and rug cleaning
- Diagnose and fix minor HVAC issues
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or handyman work
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work on-call and weekends, as needed
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing work conditions.
Schedule:
- On-call availability
- Weekend shifts as needed
- Potential for additional hours during the busy summer season (May - September)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
