Job description:
Must have experience sewing 5-panel and 6-panel caps including structured and unstructured styles. Experience with single needle, overlock, post bed, double needle, bartack, and visor stitching machines required. Ability to complete full cap assembly including sweatbands, visors, snapback or strapback closures, eyelets, and top button installation.
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble headwear components with accuracy and speed
- Follow instructions and patterns to ensure consistent product quality
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all headwear meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Report any machine malfunctions or quality issues promptly to supervisors
<Requirements>
- Proven experience in garment construction, sewing, or manufacturing environments
- Proficiency with sewing machines and various sewing techniques specific to headwear production
- Strong understanding of garment assembly processes and quality control standards
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle inventory and storage procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
