We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at our process facility in Port Arthur, Texas. The successful candidate must be able to work well in a team environment. The position reports directly to the maintenance supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, pumps, motors, valves, piping systems, conveyors, and treatment systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment supporting wastewater treatment, industrial waste processing, and equipment cleaning operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of facility infrastructure and identify maintenance needs before failures occur.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Advancement is available for those with mechanical aptitude and motivation.
- Position will involve some overtime.
- Work schedule may vary.
Experience:
- Basic knowledge of welding is required.
- A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
- Experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Mechanical skills
- Repairing industrial equipment
- With 3-Phrase motors
- The following equipment: centrifugal & air-operated diaphragm pumps, blowers, and compressors.
Physical requirements:
- Working indoors and outdoors (in all weather conditions),
- Standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders,
