What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Technician at VCA Terrell, you'll play a vital role in helping pets live longer, healthier lives while building meaningful relationships with their families.
Responsibilities include:
- Venipuncture and sample collection
- IV catheter placement
- Digital radiology
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Patient assessments and physical examinations
- Surgical preparation and assistance
- Dentistry and dental radiology
- Laboratory diagnostics
- Pharmacy duties
- Patient recovery and nursing care
- Monitoring hospitalized patients
- Client education and communication
- Providing compassionate care to both patients and their families

What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred
- Strong nursing and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive hospital culture
