VP Aviation is hiring Avionics Technicians to support aircraft modification and maintenance programs in Andalusia, Alabama.

We are seeking avionics technicians with experience performing aircraft modifications, installations, wiring, troubleshooting, and system integration. Candidates with strong aircraft modification experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform avionics installations, modifications, upgrades, and repairs
- Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and avionics systems
- Install, route, terminate, and test aircraft wiring and harnesses
- Perform operational checks and functional testing
- Interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Support aircraft modification programs and engineering changes
- Complete maintenance and modification documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and leadership regarding work progress and issues
Requirements
- Two or more years of aircraft avionics experience
- Experience performing avionics modifications, installations, troubleshooting, or upgrades preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Basic avionics tools required
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Rotary-wing experience is preferred but not required
