Position Summary
The Data Analyst – Quality Services is responsible for supporting the processes that assist leaders in making strategic and operational data-based decisions by delivering timely, accurate, and relevant clinical, operational and financial information. As a Data Analyst you will assist in designing, developing, and analyzing data to measure clinical outcomes and network performance and promote insight and decision-making as well as interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation.
Key Responsibilities
- Share responsibility in overseeing provider quality & value-based incentive metrics
- Apply specialized knowledge of clinic operations, data acquisition, analysis, management, and interpretation directly to data to provide actionable insights into clinical quality and operations that can be used by executives, managers, and providers to drive improvements in quality and performance for MRMG
- Develop systematic reporting and analytical processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly annual and ad hoc reports to support key departmental and corporate initiatives
- Gather and interpret data from a variety of sources including the EMR, billing claims, financial reports, and patient satisfaction surveys to help MRMG improve the quality of care, lower the cost of care, and enhance the patient experience
- Assist in the automation of internal and external reports, creating executive-level scorecards and dashboards, to facilitate management and clinical understanding
- Management & manipulation of structured data in a format that is easy to analyze , comprehend and monitor
- Provide ad hoc data mining and analysis which determine solutions to business problems and programs as needed
- Work with IT and/or analytics peers, where appropriate, to troubleshoot errors and data inconsistencies and coordinate resolutions to issues as directed by Senior Analyst and leadership
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or Certificate of Study in related field (Required)

One year of data management or experience in healthcare related reporting (Preferred)
- Knowledge of SQL, statistical analysis, and data visualization software tools (Preferred)
