The outpatient therapist position provides culturally competent counseling services to individuals who are experiencing behavioral health and substance abuse difficulties. This position is for full time employees who will provide the following;
- Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient counseling services
- Provide individual, family, and group treatment
- Complete clinical documentation within the required timeframe
- Actively participate as a positive treatment team member
- Keep current with updated research and best practices
- Maintain proficiency in use of electronic health record (EHR)
Qualifications
- Must be licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or pursuing licensure
- Three years of clinical experience treating persons/families with mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
- Skill in working with a variety of cultures
- Skill in working independently and implementing time management strategies
- Ability to provide necessary self-care
- Ability to demonstrate positive team interactions with other clinic staff
Required education:
- Master's and License in the state of PA
Required experience:
Required licenses or certifications:
- LMFT
- LPC
- LCSW
- Pursuing one of these licenses
