Duties
- Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining presentation quality and temperature standards
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to ensure a smooth flow of service for incoming guests
- Assist servers with bussing duties, including removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down surfaces and organizing table settings
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and updates
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience working in banquet settings or hotel restaurants is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
