Location: Nashville, TN — Onsite at our client's Corporate Office off Elm Hill Pike, near Opryland and the airport
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Duration: 90–180 days before conversion consideration
Compensation: $19/hour | Equivalent to ~$39,520/year

About the Role
Our client, is seeking Transportation Logistics Coordinators to join their Nashville-area supply chain team.
This is a strong opportunity for recent Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Operations graduates looking to get their foot in the door with one of the largest companies in the country. This a great environment to gain hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, scheduling, transportation coordination, and supply chain operations.
This role is fully onsite, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be comfortable working in office five days per week.
Schedule
Flexible Monday–Friday schedule options may include:
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Schedule inbound deliveries and pickups for distribution centers and manufacturing plants
- Plan and schedule fleet pickups at vendor locations
- Communicate regularly with procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, shipping and receiving teams, carriers, and distribution centers
- Audit freight payment processes for accuracy and timeliness using current freight payment systems
- Perform end-of-day administration and ensure scheduling details are accurate
- Support logistics, transportation, and distribution operations in a fast-paced office environment
- Use internal purchasing, inventory, and transportation systems to manage daily workflow

What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of distribution, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Excel VLOOKUPs, Power BI, R, or similar tools
- Experience with online purchasing or inventory system applications is helpful
- Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and distribution centers
- Ability to work productively in a team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with deadlines
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Skills
- Recent degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field
- Internship, school project, or work experience related to transportation, logistics, scheduling, distribution, or supply chain
- Experience using Excel, VLOOKUPs, Power BI, R, or other analytics tools in a supply chain or operations setting
- Experience scheduling deliveries, pickups, vendors, carriers, or warehouse/distribution activity
