Parchment Inc. is looking for a full-time, experienced Senior Project Manager – Team Lead to be part of the team that that deploys Parchment services to new and existing higher education clients. The successful candidate will have a technical background in the Educations or Software industry, experience with system integrations, strong communication skills, and the willingness and ability to think creatively and flexibly. This position is suited to a person who brings both business analysis skills and project management experience to the role.
The Senior Project Manager – Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the planning, requirements analysis, implementation and tracking of implementations of Parchment services for higher education clients. In addition this position serves as a team lead by assisting with the operational support of the team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitate project Kickoff Meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and document requirements and risks for each implementation project
- Identify gaps with expressed business needs and scope potential solutions with project team
- Requirements analysis and management. Work with entire project team to create and define a solution that meets all agreed to requirements
- Keep project team (internal) and stakeholders (external) in sync on project scope
- Create project schedule based on implementation methodology
- Manage internal and external stakeholders against schedule
- Provide member support throughout implementation and post go-live closeout/documentation.
- Formalize project management processes and implement best practices
- On projects where Parchment is the prime contractor, managing sub-contractor relationships, deliverables, and associated project contributors
- Accountable for project scope, resources and timeline
- The Senior Project Manager – Team Lead responsibilities include team project assignments, collaborating in improving team processes, assistance with project management tools and techniques used to implement projects and leading team meetings
Required
- 4 year university degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years managing multiple client-facing simultaneous projects and large, multi-vendor projects
- Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software
- PMP or similar project management credential required
Preferred:
- Experience in enterprise technology project management in the Higher Education sector
- Proficient with Salesforce and Task Feed applications
