Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager / Foreman to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. As a Construction Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that all work is executed according to specifications.
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control and adherence to contract requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including daily logs, change orders, and incident reports.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
- Possess strong client services skills to work with a range of clientele.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
