Position Summary
The Studio Manager's objective is to increase recurring membership electronic funds transfer (EFT), with a focus on retention, by ensuring the highest level of service for F45 Training members. The studio manager is responsible to lead, instruct and motivate F45 Training group personal training members by coaching at least 25% of the classes, as well as seminars, special events, handling personnel issues and ensuring overall studio cleanliness and maintenance.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage Every Aspect of Boutique Studio According to F45 TRAINING Manual and P&L / Proforma
- Take the lead in recruiting, interviewing and hiring the most qualified coaches for the local labor market
- Schedule coaches according to operational requirements while complying with payroll budgets
- Train and evaluate coaches to perform daily tasks according to the highest training standards
- Maximize sales of new memberships and retention of current members
- Solve problems that affect members’ satisfaction and the club’s sales performance
- Inspect Studio daily to ensure cleanliness and maintenance operational needs
- Meet or go lower than the F45 Training monthly member attrition goal
- Teach a minimum of 25% of F45 Training classes per month (TBD)
- Coach service classes, seminars and special events as needed
- Effectively motivate, encourage and retain F45 Training members
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Passionate about people. Passionate about fitness
- Ambition, drive, honesty, enthusiasm, energy, personal integrity and a passion for the fitness industry
- Have a nationally accredited personal training and nutrition certification
- 2+ years of management experience and 2+ years of sales experience
- Experience in managing a stand-alone, high-end fitness club
- Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting
- Ability to hire, direct, coach, train, motivate and evaluate staff
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Proven business, sales and human resource management experience
- Computer literacy
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field preferred
- Certified for automated external defibrillator (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
