Orthodontic Assistant — Part-Time (Tuesdays & Wednesdays, plus fill-in coverage) with room to grow to Full-Time
We are a well-established, state-of-the-art orthodontic practice seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Orthodontic Assistant for a part-time role. This position is set for Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to cover for teammates as needed — a great fit for someone who wants flexibility and values being a dependable part of a tight-knit team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and oral hygiene instructions
- Accurately chart patient information and update records
- Take digital radiographs and patient photos
- Perform intra-oral scanning
- Assist with orthodontic adjustments and procedures
- Prepare teeth for bonding and debonding procedures
- Assist in the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances
- Utilize excellent isolation techniques during bonding procedures
- Sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control protocols
- Encourage and motivate patients to follow treatment recommendations
- Set up and place brackets
- Manage a fast-paced patient schedule while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (preferred)
- X-ray/radiology certification required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, high-energy environment
- Experience with indirect bonding and fixed retainers is a plus
