Job Summary:
Marian Living Center, a premier senior living community in North Lima, OH, is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT Cook to join our dining services team. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing exceptional culinary support.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items for our residents and staff, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Assist with meal planning, ordering ingredients, and managing inventory
- Collaborate with the dining services team to ensure seamless service and high-quality meals
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in cooking or food service preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
