Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and safety standards, including handling food with care and maintaining sanitation.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant, including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces.
- Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques, POS systems, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Manage shift operations by coordinating team activities, ensuring timely food delivery, managing inventory levels, and supporting sales goals through effective upselling strategies.
- Support food safety practices by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively, demonstrating leadership qualities as a Shift Leader when needed, and promoting teamwork during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred; culinary experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cashiering, customer service, and food safety protocols.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for upselling opportunities.
- Experience in restaurant operations or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude; leadership qualities are desirable for those interested in shift leading roles.

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
