We are on the lookout for an energetic and experienced General Manager to lead our dynamic dining team. This role is all about creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere where exceptional food and top-notch service come together. As the driving force behind daily operations, you'll oversee everything from staff management and food quality to customer satisfaction and financial performance. Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer experience.
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff including hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members to deliver outstanding hospitality.
- Manage inventory control, food safety protocols, and proper food handling practices to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Supervise kitchen management including food preparation, cooking standards, and kitchen workflow to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting.
- Monitor budget adherence, control costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting staff training & development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong background in food service management including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast; cash handling experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control procedures, and hospitality best practices.
- Experience with fine dining or hotel restaurant management is a plus but not mandatory; a background in catering or banquet services is also valuable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train & develop staff effectively while maintaining high team morale.
