Mechatronics Lead
Liminal Industries is building a new category of low-cost unmanned ground systems designed for deployment at scale.
We are looking for a Mechatronics Lead: a founding team member responsible for the electrical, embedded, and controls architecture of our platform family.
This is a hands-on engineering and execution role.
The Mechatronics Lead turns hardware into intelligent systems.
You will work directly with the rest of the founding team and operators across power systems, embedded software, controls, FPV systems, radios, sensors, autonomy, and vehicle integration to rapidly develop and deploy next-generation unmanned ground systems.

You should be equally comfortable:
- developing embedded systems and firmware
- integrating sensors, radios, and vehicle electronics
- debugging electrical and software systems in the field
- building early autonomy and controls capabilities
- rapidly prototyping and iterating
- balancing capability, simplicity, and reliability
- coordinating directly with suppliers and vendors
- jumping into whatever is required to move the mission forward
