Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner Presser to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines, steamers, and other equipment to press garments efficiently and accurately.
- Inspect clothing items for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Handle delicate fabrics with care, following specific instructions for each garment type.
- Assist with dry cleaning processes, including sorting, tagging, and preparing items for cleaning or finishing.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service by answering questions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe and efficient environment.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties when processing payments or invoices.
Skills
- Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of garment care, pressing techniques, and cleaning procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and record keeping.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy or bulky items.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and cashiering operations.
