Overview
We are looking for a housekeeper/in-home cleaner for our home in Alma. We are currently looking to fill the position 3 days/week at least 4 hours/day with the possibility of more hours when needed.
Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check. This position will provide you with a 1099 at the end of the year for your tax purposes.
Duties
- Cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and trash removal.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the home.
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, mops, and specialized tools for floor and surface care.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care.
- Heavy lifting of furniture or appliances for deep cleaning as needed.
- Meal prepping and cooking while maintaining food safety and allergy considerations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial work is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper application techniques for various surfaces.
- Familiarity with floor cleaning methods including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
