Marketing Project Manager
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Part-Time Freelance (with opportunity to transition to Full-Time)
About the Role
We're looking for someone who thrives in organized chaos.
This is not a traditional account management position. You'll help manage multiple brands, marketing initiatives, websites, creative projects, and cross-functional teams while ensuring everything stays organized, on schedule, and moving forward.
Working directly with the Managing Director, you'll build project plans, manage timelines and milestones, coordinate internal teams, write project briefs, and keep projects progressing from concept through completion.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who doesn't wait for direction. You naturally identify what's needed, follow up relentlessly, solve problems, and keep people accountable without being asked.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple marketing and creative projects across several brands.
- Build and maintain project timelines, milestones, schedules, and priorities.
- Keep projects on track by proactively managing deadlines and following up with team members.
- Write clear project and creative briefs.
- Coordinate designers, writers, developers, and other creative partners.
- Review work to ensure it aligns with project objectives and brand standards.
- Identify roadblocks, recommend solutions, and keep work moving.
- Organize meetings, action items, and project documentation.
- Manage projects using ClickUp or a similar project management platform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing agency, creative agency, or in-house marketing department.
- Strong project management experience overseeing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Experience building project schedules, timelines, milestone plans, managing deadlines and keeping teams accountable.
- Proficiency with ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com or similar project management software.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience writing project briefs.
- Strong understanding of marketing, branding, advertising and digital campaigns.
- Exceptional organizational skills with obsessive attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing numerous moving pieces without losing track of priorities.
- Ability to prioritize, adapt quickly, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
What Success Looks Like
- Projects stay on schedule.
- Deadlines are met.
- Team members know what's expected.
- Nothing falls through the cracks.
- Creative work is delivered on time and aligned with the brief.
- Clients and stakeholders have confidence that everything is under control.
Simply put, you're the person who keeps the machine running.
Why Reverb Factory?
Reverb Factory isn't a traditional agency. You won't find a polished website or a flashy social presence because we exist to build our clients' brands. Not our own.
We're intentionally operating in stealth mode while we build something special. Our reputation comes from the work we produce, not the noise we make.
If you need layers of management, endless meetings or a corporate handbook to feel comfortable, this probably isn't the right fit. If, however, you're excited by the opportunity to help build an agency from the ground up, work directly with experienced marketing leaders, influence how things are done and make a meaningful impact from day one, we'd love to meet you.
We're a small, elite team doing big-agency work at startup speed. That means you'll have more ownership, more influence and more opportunities to grow than you would inside a traditional agency.
