Job Description
Hines Trucking is seeking a highly experienced Transportation Systems & TMW Administrator to own and maintain our TMW transportation management system with a primary focus on customer pricing, tariffs, fuel surcharge programs, billing accuracy, and transportation system administration.
This is not an entry-level TMW position.
We are looking for someone who has extensive hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and auditing TMW rate structures within an asset-based trucking operation.
The ideal candidate understands how customer contracts flow into TMW, how tariffs and rating engines function, how fuel surcharge programs are maintained, and how to ensure billing accurately reflects contractual agreements.
Primary ResponsibilitiesTMW Administration
- Own all TMW rate tables
- Maintain customer tariffs
- Configure billing rate schedules
- Configure settlement rate schedules
- Maintain customer master files
- Maintain origin/destination tables
- Configure rating keys and indexes
- Manage effective dates
- Eliminate duplicate and obsolete rates
Customer Pricing
- Enter new customer contracts into TMW
- Build customer-specific rate tables
- Maintain lane pricing
- Configure accessorial charges
- Maintain fuel surcharge programs
- Ensure rates match executed contracts
- Maintain contract amendments
Fuel Programs
- Update weekly/monthly fuel surcharge tables
- Maintain customer-specific FSC formulas
- Verify EIA fuel calculations
- Ensure rating engine applies correct FSC
- Maintain historical fuel schedules
Billing & Revenue Integrity
- Audit TMW billing against customer contracts
- Reconcile TMW rates to invoices
- Reconcile invoices to customer remittances
- Identify revenue leakage
- Resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain billing accuracy
Process Improvement
- Develop documented procedures
- Create audit processes
- Standardize rate maintenance
- Improve data quality
- Reduce manual billing adjustments
- Support accounting and operations
Reporting
- Build pricing reports
- Analyze customer profitability
- Support contract negotiations
- Maintain pricing dashboards
- Audit historical rate changes
Required QualificationsREQUIRED
- 5+ years administering TMW Transportation Management Software
- Experience configuring TMW Tariffs
- Experience with PB Rating Engine
- Experience with Billing Rate Schedules
- Experience with Settlement Rate Schedules
- Experience maintaining Fuel Surcharge Tables
- Experience with transportation accounting
- Experience with customer contract implementation
- Understanding of freight billing
- Advanced Excel

- Build a standardized rate maintenance process
- Ensure customer billing matches contractual pricing
- Document all fuel surcharge procedures
- Improve billing accuracy
- Support pricing strategy and contract negotiations

Pay: $46,688.75 - $56,227.31 per year
