Lumin8 Dentistry is a growing, patient-centered private practice seeking a positive, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our supportive and collaborative team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care in a welcoming environment while building long-term relationships with our patients.
We are currently hiring for a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist with a unique rotating schedule that allows for a 4-day weekend every other week.
Schedule
Our team works a rotating schedule:
Week 1: Monday – Thursday
Week 2: Tuesday – Friday
Hours
Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This schedule allows you to enjoy a 4-day weekend every other week, promoting excellent work-life balance.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status.
- Capture and interpret dental imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate dental records, document treatment notes, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support infection control procedures by following aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification.
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for record keeping and documentation review.
- 1 year of experience (preferred).
- New grads welcome.
