Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Audiovisual Technician - II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of audiovisual (AV) systems across multiple settings. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of AV equipment during live events, meetings, and conferences, contributing to outstanding client experiences and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems including video conferencing setups, audio equipment, control systems, and telecommunication devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV equipment, software, and network connectivity swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to AV system installation and maintenance.
- Operate digital signal processing equipment and control systems for optimal audio-visual performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and upgrades on AV hardware and cabling infrastructure.
- Support live event AV production projects by setting up equipment, managing signals, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong understanding of AV system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams specific to AV systems.
- Knowledge of control system programming (AV systems), digital signal processing, and software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with video conferencing systems operation and telecommunication infrastructure.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for cabling and mechanical adjustments.
- Strong electrical knowledge including low voltage wiring, E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation), and electrical schematic reading.
- Experience with live event AV production projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Mechanical aptitude for implementing audio systems and performing routine maintenance tasks.
