Responsibilities

- Execute food preparation tasks including poaching, braising, grilling, and food production with precision and efficiency
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support high-volume food service operations
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and ensuring ingredient availability
- Maintain strict food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices
- Support dietary department needs by preparing meals that meet specific dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Asian cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and knife skills
- Experience with food safety management and sanitizing procedures in high-volume production settings
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for menu adjustments
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Prior experience in fine dining or high-volume food production is preferred
- Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence
