About the Role
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy programs to help patients develop or regain daily living skills. They will work closely with patients to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well?being, ensuring their ability to engage in meaningful activities.
Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.

Administer occupational therapy treatments including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, ADL training, and adaptive equipment as needed.

Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies to maximize independence.

Regularly reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.

Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Meet needs of patient executing Plan of Care, including follow?up for noncompliance.

Be a team player utilizing nonclinical staff to support caseload needs.

Delegate to COTA as appropriate.

Drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision.

Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily workflow.

Stay updated on advancements in occupational therapy techniques and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist

Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, and teamwork ability
