Serves as the principal receptionist for the office and is responsible for greeting all incoming visitors. Will receive, screen, and route telephone calls, as well as answer routine questions and refer persons to appropriate personnel based on office operations.
Enters data in an automated case tracking system; obtains and retrieves information from system.
Photocopies documents received and prepares packets for the Offender Processing Unit.
Will be trained on the offender intake process (taking photographs, fingerprinting, and collecting DNA from the person under supervision). Will also be trained on the additional administrative tasks associated with offender processing, such as submitting fingerprints to the FBI and NYS; processing rap sheets and DMV inquiries.
Will be trained on the use of the Probation and Pretrial Services Automated Case Tracking System (PACTS) and the Web Widget.
Performs other duties as required.
