About EscapeMVP
We make booking and operations software built exclusively for escape room owners. There are roughly 2,000 escape rooms in the US, and most of them are stuck on generic software just because it is there — tools that were never designed for the way escape rooms actually run. EscapeMVP was built from the ground up for escape room growth.
Though this has been used in production for about 3 months, we launched the product publicly one week ago. It's real, it's polished, and the demo converts well. What we don't have yet is someone whose full-time focus is getting owners on a call.
That's where you come in.
The Role
You book demos. You're not selling the software — you're opening the door.
What you'll actually do:
- Cold-call escape room owners
- Pitch a 20-minute demo
- Confirm meetings 24 hours out so they actually show up
- Log activity in our pipeline tool
- Hand the qualified demo off and move on to the next call
This is a 1099 contract role. You set your own hours. Work from anywhere. We expect that 10–25 hours a week is a reasonable start.
Compensation
- $50 per qualified demo that the prospect actually attends
- $250 per signed customer (commission credited to whoever booked the demo)
- 10% of monthly recurring revenue for 12 months on every customer you sourced (trail bonus)
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
LOW END but realistic earnings example: 15 demos held in a month + 4 customers closed = $750 + $1,000 + ~$120 in trail = roughly $1,920 for the month. Top performers will do more. Slow weeks will do less. We'll be transparent with you about the numbers in real time. Conversion rate is high when we get demoes booked.
No base salary. No draw. No bonus mirage. Just clean activity-and-outcome pay.
What We Provide
- Accessible to team by text or IM during business hours for real-time coaching as deals develop
- A simple weekly check-in to compare notes, fix what isn't working, and double down on what is
What You Need
- 1+ year of cold-calling experience (industry doesn't matter — phone skill matters)
- A laptop, headset, and a quiet place to call from
- Comfort with rejection — expect 30–50 dials per qualified demo
- Honesty when something isn't working
- Willingness to sign a standard 1099 independent contractor agreement
Bonus points if you've worked in the escape room industry, the entertainment/attractions space, or sold SaaS to small business owners before.
