Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this essential role, you will provide direct resident care, assist with daily living activities, and support the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and respect.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
- Measure, monitor, and accurately document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Assist with medication administration as permitted and directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Safely transfer and reposition residents using proper body mechanics and approved lifting equipment.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
- Provide emotional support and communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Assist in caring for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory care needs, and behavioral health conditions.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA confidentiality standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, rehabilitation, or nursing home setting preferred.
- Experience working with geriatric residents is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care PCC is a plus.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and safe patient handling practices.
- Experience with hospice, acute care, medical-surgical, long term care settings is beneficial but not required.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Available Shifts
We are currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for the following shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (+$2.00/hour shift differential)
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (+$1.00/hour shift differential)
Shift Differential: Eligible employees working the evening or night shift will receive additional hourly pay based on their assigned shift.
