Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Flat Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the production and finishing of flatwork projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a crew to complete a project efficiently.
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the flat production process.
- Setup of work sites to ensure optimal production.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in concrete environment is REQUIRED.
- Experience in reading plans and laying out job sites
- Managerial experience preferred
- Knowledge in laying and finishing concrete.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and customers.
- Physical stamina and strength, as the role may require lifting heavy materials.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
