Job Summary
Euphoria Delicias Marina is a modern seafood concept restaurant focused on delivering high-quality mariscos, exceptional hospitality, and a unique dining experience in the heart of Northridge, CA. We are currently seeking passionate, motivated, and team-oriented individuals to join our growing team.
We are looking for candidates with strong work ethic, positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Experience in seafood restaurants and hospitality is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently manage seating arrangements as a host to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise processing.
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism and attentiveness, maintaining high standards of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
- Mix and serve beverages responsibly as a bartender, adhering to all alcohol service laws and responsible serving practices.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Assist shift leaders in coordinating team efforts during busy periods, managing time effectively to maximize sales and guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems while practicing proper cashiering techniques; perform basic math calculations for bills and tips.
- Maintain excellent customer service by engaging with guests positively, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols consistently across all roles within the restaurant or nightclub setting.
- Support catering or banquet events when needed, demonstrating flexibility within the food service environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry roles such as server, bartender, busser, or host is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to efficiently process sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for billing purposes; retail math skills are advantageous.
- Experience with catering or banquet services is desirable; beverage knowledge including brewing or bartending certifications is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a lively hospitality environment.
