Duties
- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and restoration steps
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and panel replacement
- Use MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to secure structural components
- Operate power tools, hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct auto painting and auto glass replacement to restore vehicles to pristine condition
- Fabricate custom parts or modifications using sheet metal and fabrication techniques
- Maintain detailed repair documentation and communicate progress with team members and customers
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto estimating, and assembly
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair preferred
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and fabricating sheet metal components
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and auto painting techniques
- Experience with auto restoration projects or classic car repairs is a plus
- Ability to perform auto glass replacement and auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout the repair process
- Knowledge of auto estimating software and automotive repair standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
