Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to ensure healthy, vibrant turf.
- Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscapes with precision and care.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety across landscapes.
- Install irrigation systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
- Support landscape construction projects including hardscape installation such as patios or walkways while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools for landscape maintenance and construction tasks.
- Strong understanding of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, and general gardening techniques.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance routines including pruning, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators safely on job sites.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in tree care including trimming, planting, and health assessment.
