Our optometric technicians complete the automated testing and gather information from the patient to make sure that any problems or concerns are addressed by the doctor. They’re the first clinical team member that patients encounter, and have the first chance to create a memorable experience-- whether that’s laughing with a long-time patient, or helping an anxious first-time patient feel at ease.
Behind the scenes, the techs are the ones working furiously to make the patient encounter as smooth and stress-free as possible. They are always looking ahead to make sure that the docs have everything they need-- stocking the supplies in the exam rooms, making the team aware of any patients with special circumstances, and ensuring that equipment and supplies are always at the ready as well as constantly monitoring the schedule to ensure minimal wait time for patients.
No experience is required. It’s a lot of responsibility and our expectations are high -- but we will give the right person all of the training and tools to do a fantastic job, and create opportunities for career growth and advancement. Our techs have the opportunity to gain certifications and access more learning materials than they’ll ever have time to complete. Many of our technicians have gone on to become optometrists.

An absolutely spectacular candidate will be all of the above, with some experience training, leading or supervising others. Hardworking, positive, detail oriented and easygoing would describe someone who excels in this role.
This is a FULL-TIME Position. Office hours are typically 9-5 Tuesday through Friday and 8-4 on Saturdays.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
