Job Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with experience working with children.
· Have an Associate’s degree with three (3) months experience working with children
· Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.) with six (6) months of experience working with children.

Job Description
· Maintain a therapeutic milieu utilizing a trauma informed care and positive youth development approach.
· Provide supervision and direction to residents during daily routines
· Ensuring hourly rounds, daily shift report, and resident contacts are completed and documented by the end of the shift.
· Responds to hotline and safe place calls and complete all associated documentation, provide telephone crisis counseling to youth and their families, schedule assessments and family counseling sessions.
· Complete emergency assessments and discharges.
· Ensure health care and physical well-being of residents is maintained to include scheduling medical appointments and dispensing medications.
· Supervise resident chores; ensure residents are ready for evening meals and snacks. Ability to prepare meals in absence of the Kitchen Manager
· Upon resident return from school/pass ensure resident is checked in and searched for contraband.
· Prior to resident bedtime ensure all common areas are orderly, kitchen is clean, and monitor bedtime routine.
· Supervise residents on community outings.
· Facilitate Psychoeducational Groups
· Perform additional duties as may be assigned.
