We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Filler Machine Operator to join a production team. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining filling equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality dairy product packaging. Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate filler machines and related packaging equipment in a food production environment
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machines to ensure proper fill levels, seals, and packaging quality
- Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all food safety, quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment per dairy safety requirements
- Communicate machine issues or quality concerns to supervisors promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience operating filler or packaging machines in a food or dairy manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment adjustments
- Ability to read and follow production schedules, SOPs, and safety instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends or overtime as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
