Food Runner/Barback and Greeters
We are looking for rockstar hospitality focused team members to join the Lana opening crew. Lana is an upscale neighborhood restaurant with coastal comfort cuisine. The design direction is vintage, seaside, luxury. We are open for dinner service Tuesday through Sunday. We are looking for individuals that truly understand hospitality and take joy in the art of making others feel taken care of. In order to be successful at Lana, you have to love people! Responsibilities:
- Be a warm and welcoming presence—guests should feel like they belong.
- Create a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Support your team—circulate, communicate, consolidate. We will only succeed together.
- Know the menu inside and out—help guests make great choices based on their preferences, dietary needs, and cravings.
- Balance efficiency with genuine hospitality—fast service should never feel rushed!
- Adapt and stay flexible—whether you’re helping another server or handling a curveball request, teamwork makes the restaurant run.
- Handle transactions accurately and smoothly so guests can leave happy and stress-free.
- Always be guest obsessed
- Any other task assigned by ownership/management or as needed to contribute to overall team success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 years of upscale full service restaurant experience.
- Natural communicator—able to connect with guests and work seamlessly with coworkers.
- Poised under pressure—gracefully handling a full section while keeping a smile.
- Attention to detail—every plate, drink, and guest interaction should meet high standards.
- Willingness to help wherever needed—no task is too big or small in a great team.
- Humility and empathy.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Certifications: Food Handler Card. (Training made available to you directly through the company if you do not have)
Pay Range:
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $28.00 per hour
