Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Full-Time Preschool Teacher with a strong preference for bilingual Mandarin/English speakers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, incorporating literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respectful interactions among children.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and promote cooperative behavior.
- Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings, reports, and informal updates.
- Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following health protocols for childcare.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and school events to foster a cohesive educational experience.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, behavior management, standardized testing, and preschool teaching best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; experience with toddlers is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience teaching physical education or integrating movement into daily lessons is advantageous.
- Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare practices is desirable.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children and their families using strong interpersonal skills.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional training in early childhood education is highly valued.
- Previous experience working in private schools or daycare centers will be considered an asset.

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
