As Development Review Environmental Manager, you will lead with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and continuous improvement. You will oversee environmental services and technical support for the DRS environmental group, ensuring that our team not only meets but exceeds expectations in compliance with the County’s Land Development Code and NPDES Program.
In this leadership role, you will perform administrative and professional work with supervisory responsibility of an environmental program involving land development and permitting; plan, assign and supervise the work of professional and technical employees engaged in the review of site plans, building permit records, NPDES compliance, zoning clearances, tree permits, habitat permits and conducting habitat inspections to ensure compliance with County codes, ordinances and state regulations. You will be instrumental in optimizing environmental workloads and execution to meet target Level of Service KPIs and project schedules. Your role involves complex coordination with various County departments and extensive public interaction to manage environmental activities and natural resource management.
