Solar Site Surveyor – Independent Contractor

Solar Site Surveyor- Enjoy the flexibility of working independently while helping homeowners move forward with solar projects. You’ll visit residential properties, collect accurate site information, and submit surveys using our mobile platform.
What You’ll Do
- Visit residential properties to conduct solar site surveys.
- Collect photos, measurements, and site-condition information using a photo-first documentation and project management app. Inspect roofs, electrical equipment, property layouts, and other relevant site conditions.
- Follow all required on-site safety procedures.
- Upload completed surveys promptly for review with a Quality Control specialist.
- Fill a digital Site survey Form right after survey is completed.
- Provide a professional, courteous, and friendly customer experience at every appointment.
What You’ll Need
- At least one year of experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Solar site surveying
- Solar installation
- Home inspection
- Roofing
- Construction
- Your own ladder and basic tools required; equipment is not provided.
- Smartphone capable of taking clear, high-quality photos and videos.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors and travel to residential properties.
- FAA Part 107 drone license preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
This is an independent contractor opportunity and does not include employee benefits. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, tools, equipment, and transportation expenses.
Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day
