Job Summary
Join our award winning coffee shop team as a Barista/Cashier, where you will be the friendly face that greets customers and creates an inviting atmosphere. Duties
- Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
- Operate POS systems
- Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and during serving processes
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support café operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high service quality
- Assist in creating and posting on social media pages
- Available to work early morning hours and Saturdays.
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting is helpful but not required
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Pay is based on experience, and staff receives tips in addition to their weekly direct deposit.
