Lead Carpenter / Residential Remodeling Craftsman
Location: Sabattus, ME (Projects throughout Southern & Coastal Maine)
Starting Wage: $36.00/hour (based on experience)
ABLE TRADES is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Residential Remodeling Craftsman to join our Team. This position is for a craftsman who takes pride in producing quality work, understands the value of efficiency, and consistently completes jobs with attention to detail and professionalism. This is a hands-on leadership position working alongside a small crew.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of residential remodeling work, including siding, windows, doors, decks, kitchens, and bathrooms.
- Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Work independently while coordinating with and leading one to two journeymen when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
- Represent ABLE TRADES with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong residential remodeling and construction experience.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, and best practices
- Ability to read plans and solve field challenges with minimal supervision.
- High standards for workmanship and attention to detail.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to doing the job right.
- Ability to successfully complete our pre-employment background screening
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage of $36.00/hour
