Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee attorney training programs focusing on key practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, and legal research methodologies.
- Mentor junior attorneys and interns by providing guidance on case strategy, legal drafting, negotiation techniques, and courtroom advocacy.
- Coordinate with practice group leaders to identify skill gaps and tailor educational initiatives accordingly.
- Facilitate workshops on legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw to enhance research efficiency and accuracy.
- Organize seminars on legal administrative processes and effective writing skills to improve overall firm productivity.
- Monitor the progress of attorney development programs through assessments and feedback sessions, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Promote a collaborative learning environment that encourages knowledge sharing across practice areas.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of human resources experience required
- Legal background required
- Strong people skills are required
